Originally, the handira was a blanket offered at Moroccan weddings. Today, it is available as blankets, cushions and has become an essential part of the decor. The Moroccan Handira is hand-woven from pure wool by Berber women in the Middle Atlas Mountains, so each Berber carpet is unique and has its own history.
